Kristanna Loken's independent film project Lime Salted Love will be released worldwide on DVD in August/September 2009.
Kristanna's next project is the film "Janjaweed" or "Darfur", directed by Uwe Boll and co-starring Edward Furlong and Billy Zane. The film is shot in South Africa and is about the genocide in Sudan's Darfur Region.
Kristanna Loken reports from the set: "The shoot is going well. I shot a scene where I speak Arabic this morning. Some of the extras are actual Darfur refugees. I interviewed one of the ladies who told her story. It was extremely moving, and I will never forget the broken look in her eyes. My awareness of this film has taken on a whole new meaning.

Kristanna Loken is currently looking for funding for the movie
LOVE ORCHARD which her father wrote and which Kristanna is
going to produce and star in. This film deals with the illegal
immigration
crises in the USA. Love Orchard
follows the life of an immigrant family who faces
deportation of their youngest daughter who is 3. Kristanna's
character tries the case on a national level, and
fights for the rights of the family and the little
girl.
Knockout for Painkiller Jane
SCI FI Channel will stop TV series Painkiller Jane after the
first season. All 22 episodes of Season 1 will be aired, but
probably due to low viewership (no official reason was given)
compared with SCI FI Channel's other new series based on a
comic strip - Flash Gorden - this will be the end of the saga.

Kristanna Loken cast as Painkiller Jane by
SCI FI Channel
Kristanna Loken will star in the title role
of superhero action series Painkiller Jane. 22 one-hour episodes
will be produced in Vancouver.
The TV series is based on the comic book Painkiller
Jane created
by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada. Jane Vasko is a DEA agent
with the task of capturing genetically enhanced Neuros -
people with superhuman mental powers.
After being drugged and being in a two year-coma,
Jane develops superhuman abilties herself - she has extraordinary
regenerative powers, her injuries are healing incredibly fast
and Jane doesn't feel pain.
Kristanna Loken is co-executive producer of
TV series Painkiller Jane.
BloodRayne to become a Trilogy
The sequel to Blood Rayne is planned to be
filmed in 2007 - this time Kristanna Loken will star in a
Western-Ambience. And the planned third film shall be set
in World War II.
While Blood
Rayne flopped in cinema, it turned
out satisfactory on DVD.

When Arnold Schwarzenegger met UK Premier
Tony Blair to discuss Global Warming, there was some time
left to talk in private. Arnold is reported to be worried
about Tony Blair's future career and allegedly offered a
job in Terminator 4 in case Tony needs it.
The rumor is part four shall be directed by
Jonathan Mostow and star German actor (and Arnold's bodybuilding
buddy) Ralf Moeller and Kristanna Loken as
the T-X.

Uwe Boll, the director, confirmed BloodRayne
had to be cut because it was "too bloody". But you
